Wishing my kazillion (I know that’s a stretch, but I sorta liked the term and hence using it freely!) tamil readers a wonderful new beginning.

Gorgeous orange sunrise and colors of the waters at Marina Beach, loved the frame and felt it suited the occasion in more ways than one.

Iniya puthandu Nal Vazhthukkal!!
Iniya Puthandu Nal Vazhthukkal! No festive lunch, no special programs on Sun TV – without all this doesn’t feel like new year 🙂
A-Kay: Really? That’s no fun! @Sun TV I mean.
Laksh: Yes yes, ungalukkum.
Metlin: LOL, o cmon, u get such awesome ildi/dosa frozen ones. :–D
Lakhsmi: Of course it does. Good thoughts matter :–)
Jackfruit payasam eh? hmm… you got me all curious now..
Rads,
This is a specialty in Kerala. Usually, once the jackfruit is ripe a jam is made out of jackfruit and jaggery and god knows what else. Taste abso yummy though for jackfruit lovers(since it has that distinct smell of the fruit).
This jam is used throughout the year to come up with different delicacies of which the payasam is one. It is out of the world I tell ya !
