A tale that practically wrote itself. The words tumbled out with intensity and speed, it was hard keeping up with typing them out. Well into midnight it went and the excitement at how the tale panned out drowned all sleep. Sure, it could use some editing, but it sits there raw and I like the way it is.
The happiness that comes from creating a smooth flowing piece of tale is a sweet thrill.
It’s like eating a big bowl of mamidikaya pappu (mango daal) mixed in rice with avakaya on the side soaked in a dollop of ghee.
The taste buds are on fire, partying. The cells within me are tingling with the same fire.

Did the lunch include mamidikaya pappu? If not, I can help rub the fact in that I did have the same for dinner last night! :p

Address! Address! Quick!!
rads – consider it an invitation the next time you are in Allentown. I will surely save some for you π

If there be no menthipindi and aavanooney, that be no avakaya dear child! Yesyes, come on over and get that butterfly with you too!
I love your comparison..well, add some gummidakayi vadiyalu or appadalu or majiga mirapakayalu and you have heaven right in front of you
haha, totally true. π
Sigh! Bliss is enjoying Mom’s mysore pak and laadoo made into laddus and munching on them, watching songs on tv, while in actuality not even caring for desserts!!!!!!!!
Eating chutney pudi and kashap pudi with hot rice and chatting away with Mom & Dad about everything under the sun and ofcourse relatives π or especially the relatives π
this time ! I *ahem* I AM not talking about sour mangoes — which could be my very own PhD thesis. (since i have eaten THAT many)
but this is about a whole new sweet spicy flavour that sorta did a jathiswaram on my tongue:-)
it’s sugar and milagai podi in a semi-gravelly mix together with sesame oil and painted on the back of a dosa …
oooooooooooooh! let the music begin!
okie. on that tongue-awakened note, off to read ces mots
